Policy Navigator
Living in a Planned Community should be easy and care free. Property values and quality of life are enhanced by various sets of interrelated layers of standards and policies which affect each home and parcel in our Gold River community. Sometimes it can be hard to know what areas or topics are addressed by policies and which policy is most relevant to the work or improvement you are considering for your home or property. The goal of the table below is to show the layers and topics so as to open up these standards, known as rules or CC&R's ("Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions") for Sutter Village owners. With this added perspective, owners have the chance to grasp and appreciate the expectations across various topics and are able to read and engage with the actual adopted language of the respective policy, not abbreviated or summary versions. In this way, we hope compliance becomes a more positive experience for all. Your board is committed to owner success and seeks to eliminate frustration and exasperation along the way. We are all working toward owner success.
As you explore and work with the grid below, please note the three sets of information in rows and columns. The upper set groups policy that guide activity, conduct and operations upon property within Sutter Village. The middle group are policies setting standards for architecture and maintenance. The lower set are polices that are primarily administrative in nature for the community. Then, the left hand column indicate specific sections within the Sutter Village CC&R's. The middle column connects you with master association policy set applicable to your home if not superseded by Sutter Village policy. The right hand column guides you to those Sutter-specific policies such as they exist. Our master association is the Gold River Community Association.
